ACT for Moral Distress
Reconnect with what matters most to escape the prison of moral injury.
I'm passionate about supporting individuals as they integrate trauma, loss and moral injury. My creation of this free ACT for Moral Distress group reflects my dedication to supporting individuals in crisis, and making evidence-based practices as widely-available as possible. With a focus on experiential learning, I guide participants through a transformative journey towards openness, awareness, and engagement with what matters most!
Hi, I am Dr. Jaimie Lusk!
ACT for Moral Distress
When an experience violates an important personal value and has high stakes, you may experience moral distress, including guilt, shame, helplessness, rage, and despair. You may find yourself in a spiritual crisis, or grieving loss of safety, joy, connection and trust. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a powerful evidence-based treatment that allows us to hold our pain while taking valued actions. This course is designed to help you face moral distress before it becomes a moral injury, and begins to impair daily functioning.
